Chris Clarke is an experienced Headteacher, having run an outstanding school in Kirkby Lonsdale since 1994. During that time Chris has Chaired the Cumbrian Association of Secondary Headteachers, been an elected Association of School and College Leaders Council Member and a member of the Cumbria Schools Forum.

Latterly, Chris has occupied a more executive role. In a system leadership capacity he sits on the DfE Headteacher Reference Group, is a board member of the Cumbria Association of System Leaders (CASL) and is a member of the Regional School Commissioner’s Headteacher Board (North).

As an NLE, Chris has a wealth of school to school support experience. He has been a leading figure in the South Lakes Federation since its inception in 2004, leading its Teaching School.
